A federal court has ordered a Mississippi man charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl on a cruise ship to be jailed until the conclusion of his case. Dylan Cole Bloodsworth, 19, of Gautier, Miss. allegedly committed the crime aboard the Carnival Elation. An FBI affidavit said the two persons met on Mar. 6, the day before the ship returned to Mobile, Ala. A lower court had previously allowed Bloodsworth to be under house arrest with electronic monitoring. However, Chief U.S. District Judge William Steele overturned the decision and ordered him jailed to ensure the public's safety, reports the Mobile Press-Register.
