Frustration with BP claims process pushes many to consider lawsuits

Fed up with the slow pace of BP’s claims process, many victims of the Gulf oil spill are now considering doing what they’d hoped to avoid: filing a lawsuit.

Florida Gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink said she was echoing the sentiments of many who have had it with the slow distribution process and that taking legal action may be the best way to go now.

“If that’s the only place to go, then so be it,” Sink said, adding that she’s “at the tipping point “ of making that decision.
