The Coast Guard airlifted a female stroke victim from the 965-foot cruise ship Celebrity Millennium on Sunday, May 15. A MH-60 Jayhawk rescue helicopter was dispatched after the 17th Coast Guard District command center received a request at 10:21 p.m. to medevac the 59-year-old passenger who was reportedly suffering from stroke symptoms. The rescue crew landed safely on the ship and the woman was taken to a Juneau hospital.
