An electrical explosion and fire at a biomass power plant in Nacogdoches County has seriously injured two workers, reports Fuel Fix.com.
The accident was reported Tuesday at 8 a.m., says a County Sheriff’s Department dispatcher.
The plant is located in Sacul which is 165 miles northeast of Houston.
The two men were in critical condition at an area hospital and were set to be airlifted to the Parkland Memorial Hospital burn unit in Dallas. Their names were not released.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
