VB Lawyer hired to file tugboat injury lawsuit against Grifco.

A tankerman was employed by Grifco aboard the tugboat "Natalie Alexander." The tug was at dock in Galveston, Texas, discharging a barge. Grifco instructed the tankerman to prepare a surface of the vessel for painting. The grinder the tankerman used for this job failed, and violently smashed in to his face, smacking it backwards harshly.

The tankerman sustained numerous injuries, including a neck injury, broken nose, smashed teeth, loss of consciousness, cracked jaw, and numerous cuts and bruises. He has already undergone multiple surgeries, and needs more surgery.

The injured tankerman hired Maritime Lawyer Vuk Vujasinovic of Vujasinovic & Beckcom to file a Jones Act lawsuit on his behalf. The case was filed in Harris County, Texas. The case remains pending.

This is the second recent tugboat injury lawsuit filed by our law firm against Grifco based on a serious injury occurring on the same tug: the "Natalie Alexander."
