Should you sign a medical release after a maritime injury?

After a maritime injury, your employer may ask you to sign a medical release. Be very careful what you sign. Most medical releases allow your employer to get your entire medical history, even for unrelated illness or injuries.

The only reason your employer would want your entire medical history is to protect itself and potentially hurt your future.
