A tug boat employee has filed a $2 million lawsuit against D & S Marine Service for suffering an injury aboard an unseaworthy vessel.

Lee Trevino, plaintiff, alleges he suffered permanent and serious injuries on Oct. 24, 2009 on the job as a tanker man. According to his lawsuit, the injuries were caused by the defendant’s negligence.

He asks for lost wages and earning capacity, physical pain and suffering, disability, emotional distress, disfigurement, loss of the ability to enjoy life’s pleasures and court costs. He also seeks past and future maintenance and cure.
