Tug worker falls to death in Houston Ship Channel

A 54-year-old man fell to his death in a recent tug accident in the Houston Ship Channel.

The unnamed victim was found by a co-worker on the lower deck of the tug after apparently falling from a ladder on an upper deck.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The incident happened in the late evening in the 6000 block of Lakeside Drive.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office has ruled the case an accident.
