Tug engineer medivacced from Hudson River

A tug boat engineer had to be medically evacuated after injuring his leg in an accident which took place on the Hudson River near Kingston, NY.  Trapped in the engine room of the Barbara McAllister, efforts by the Coast Guard and emergency services succeeded in freeing him. The McAllister was built in 1969 and is owned by McAllister Towing and Transportation Co., Inc of New York, NY. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
