Roughneck filed back injury claim against Hercules Offshore

A roughneck who had worked for Hercules Offshore for over four years sued his employer after allegedly injuring his back on the job near Venice, Louisiana. The plaintiff, whose named was not available, reportedly blew out a disc in July, 2008 while being hurried to secure back drilling pipe without the presence of adequate personnel, the claim stated. The case was filed in Galveston County, Texas court.
