Jones Act Lawsuit Filed Against Diamond Offshore

My firm recently filed a legal claim and lawsuit against Diamond Offshore.  We represent one of Diamond's employees who was injured on the job.  Diamond has refused to pay for our client's medical needs, lost wages, and other legal damages, so we were forced to file the lawsuit.

We filed a Jones  Act and maritime injury lawsuit.

I have represented a number of Diamond Offshore employees who were hurt on the job, including some employees who worked for Diamond for decades.  In my experience, Diamond typically tries to intimidate its injured employees into settling their case on the cheap.  Diamond is a tough company and recently, there was a change in its legal department which has appeared to make the way they take care of injured employees even tougher.

A few years ago, Diamond was refusing to settle any maritime injury case on reasonable terms.  That trend appears to have reappeared recently.
