In the second case, Wayne David Charles Marshall, who was a cook aboard the M/V Bertha D owned and operated by Supreme Offshore Services Inc., was seriously hurt after taking a spill and charges his employer with negligence for not providing a safe place to work. In the third case, Kentrell Wright is suing employer Cross Logistics Inc and Cross Group Inc. for $2 million after suffering serious injuries. In the fourth case, seaman Leroy Blue has sued Omega Protein Corp., F/V Anna and F/V Grand Batture after suffering permanent back, neck, head and leg injuries on a vessel with inadequate safety equipment and lack of proper supervision.
