Florida Watercraft Accident Leaves Singer Sean Kingston Injured

A Florida watercraft accident involving a jet ski leaves two injured, including hip-hop singer Sean Kingston. The incident took place at approximately 6:00 on Sunday evening, May 29, 2011, in the Miami Beach area.

According to reports, Sean Kingston and a female passenger were injured when their jet ski collided with the Palm Island Bridge. Rescue crews transported both victims to Ryder Trauma Center where they were treated for injuries sustained in the maritime accident.

Details concerning the extent of their injuries were not immediately made available. However, Mr. Kingston was reportedly upgraded to serious condition approximately one week after the watercraft accident.

Mr. Kingston rose to fame with his 2007 hit "Beautiful Girls." He has been credited with selling over one million copies of his self-titled debut album.
