Amidst injury claims, Hercules Offshore proud of its safety management system

Since 2008 there have been at least 75 personal injury claims filed against Hercules Offshore and its entities. 23 were filed in 2008, 40 in 2009 and 12 so far in 2010.

In its company website, Hercules Offshore describes its Health and Safety program as “having an overarching commitment to conduct our operations in a safe, secure and environmentally responsible manner.”  They also claim to be proactive in “recognizing and mitigating potential unsafe conditions.”
