Alabama residents file suit against BP

An Alabama couple is the latest to join the long line of lawsuits against BP in the Gulf oil disaster. James E. and Kate C. Fisher are seeking damages for the loss of income to their commercially zoned property in Baldwin County. Among the damages claimed are diminished business income and use of natural resources. Even properties not actually touched by the oil are negatively affected by the spill because of the perception that all of the beaches on the Gulf Coast are damaged.
